Brand New DEFY FRIDGE that does not wor****!

I purchased a DEFY 348 Fridge from Makro on the 23rd of May and it was delivered to my home on the 2nd of June. The delivery guy said that we should let it stand for a few hours without switching it on for the gas to adjust etc. So I did just that and switched it on 5 hours after it got delivered. I left it on overnight and in the morning I packed all the things from my old fridge into my brand spanking new DEFY 348 fridge and WOW it was amazing, to have all that extra space to buy more things so that prevents daily mall missions. So that is what I did when I embarked on a journey to the mall and spent an arm and a leg at Woolies buying mine and my family's favourite things. Came home and packed it all in and got on with my day as normal (because I have to work extra hard now to pay for this new fridge). Later on that afternoon I noticed something leaking from the freezer so I opened up my brand spanking new DEFY 348 fridge and to my astonishment the things that i placed there in the morning had started to thaw out. I opened up the fridge and felt no chill what so ever. I adjusted the temperature and left it to sort itself out because maybe it was on the wrong setting HOWEVER it was not. The fridge made all the right noises and did everything that a brand spanking new DEFY 348 fridge should do EXCEPT get cold. I mean why else would one choose DEFY and buy a fridge. This machine was looking super mean in my kitchen because thats what R5500 gets you right. 2 days later my fridge has destroyed everything in it from sauces, to yogurt to frozen goods, I called Defy last Thursday 4th of June and expressed my frustrations and they said that a service agent will contact me. I called again on Friday and was told the same thing. I called again TODAY which is MONDAY 8th June and i was given the run around saying I must speak to this person and that person and someone will contact me bla bla bla. And guess what, no one did. Defy come and pick up your piece of **** defected product that you so proudly have stamps of passing certain tests at the back as if it was actually tested. I basically bought a fridge that cost me R5500 + R2500 in groceries and now serves as a ornament in my kitchen. Thanks DEFY and MAKRO :-D
