Angry customer

Defy and its staff(Technicians) are taking me for a ride. I bough a Defy 10KG washing machine at Makro Alberton for R6999.00 on 27 June 2020 and the machine stopped functioning 3 weeks after receiving Mid July 2020. I logged a case with Defy and Makro incident was assigned to Joseph their Technician.

He came to see what was wrong and advised that he has ordered parts and will be back on Friday. I call and ask that Friday if he's still coming he said NO, he's not feeling well due to Asthma i said Ok even thought he didn't communicate with me as we had an appointment for that day and cancelled my plans.

The following Monday again i do the calling he tells me a different story that his sister hasn't fetched the parts (imagine) and promises to come the following day to fix the machine. Tuesday he comes and tells me he wants to confirm something he did and told me he will come back later as he was fetching some parts in at Midrand.

I asked him to please keep the promise as i was scheduled for duty that evening anf had to skip work. he promised that he won't sleep without fixing the washing machine. Again he didn't pitch up. Today morning i call 3 times he doesn't pick up the phone. i suspect he knows or saved my numbers.

I sent message to Defy on Facebook Cindy called and told me she will book another appointment for Friday i told her that i work in different provinces and cannot skip work again to be dissapointed by Defy. Asked her to send technicians today or else if they cant send them i want my money back. Its 19:30 she hasn't said anything and she promised to update me. I'm done with Defy i want them to come fetch this s**** machine and refund my money. I'm even willing to go to twitter, popi act and consumer protection act for advise. I can see I'm not the only one with this problem. These machines are faulty
