Unauthorized Debt Review

In 2015 I received a call from Debt Works consultant Olivia regarding debt review option. She explained how this option will benefit me and ask about my current credit situation for which I supp**** him the my personal information namely all my accounts, ID, bank info, email address etc and later after relieving doc's I then communicated that I am not interested ... And I thought that was just the end of it. Then now in 2017 only to find that I am listed under Debt review by the Debt works company . I contacted them about it an spoke to Consultant Wendy confirmed that It was ********* and I have not given any consent to anyone or signed anywhere and now have requested that I write a letter and signed and scan it to email to them and will remove my name within 7 days ... still waiting ... Can Legal action be seriously taken against these people as It turns out there are a lot of people out there that are being acammed by them and seems like they do not understand the meaning of listing someone under debt review ... I can't even get a house now because of them .
