Ruth Graaf - Experience Review

I have been working with Debtline for a while and I must say that this was the first experience that actually made me feel safe within the space that I am in as someone that is financially trying to just manage myself.

Ruth contacted me after I missed one of my payments due to not having an income at the time. Her communication was gentle and extremely helpful. She guided me and assured me with so much confidence that really helped me feel comfortable it’s the reality that I was faced with.

She heard me and focused on helping me navigate effectively through everything that I needed to do to ensure I don’t default as a client but that we tick all the boxes.

She also made me realise that I don’t need to fear the reality of not being able to pay but that I just need to be honest and transparent. She checked in and made sure that I was doing okay and kept my debtors up to date.

Definitely the benchmark people need to work towards within this environment as the financial reality can be daunting but she really made me feel comfortable.
