You'll never believe what Debtbusters did, click here

Before the national lockdown I called debtbusters to inform them I will not be able to make a payment due to the lockdown. I requested feedback from creditors and whether or not we will be given assistance during the lock down. Debtbusters did not so much as send me an sms, absolutely no communication, not even to tell me you are on your own.

During lockdown I called again, multiple times to try and request what the way forward is, what plans creditors have made, what, if any, options I have, I was met with the most apathetic response from debtbusters staff. Not one staff memeber, staff members from the call centre and the whatsapp chat centre. Pure disinterest and mainly ignorance, their go to response was "We have no information".

The month of April passes with me anxious and apprehensive of not paying my creditors, my first and only missed payment in the 3 years 1 month I have been with debtbusters. Finally at the end of April I managed to get hold of someone who is seemingly interested in assisting me, a lovely lady from the payments department.

I arrange with her to pay May's installment and to add an extra 18% on payments over a 6 month period to make up for my missed payment, this is my suggestion by the way, I have done their job for them now too. Everything is in place, a debit order is set to go off the next day and all is well, my anxiety has been nullified...

Alas no debit order runs. No payment is made. I contact debtbusters for manual payment details, I process a manual payment and am unable to pay as my reference is incorrect. Use your ID number... Well... I used my ID number. I am having all these issues, I have contacted debtbusters numerous times, I am receiving sms after sms from them requesting payment and then receive and e-mail stating my ticket is successfully closed and resolved...

I have never interacted with a company that is so disinterested and makes it so difficult to actually make payment
