Where is my payments going

I'm half on the fence here. Never had any issues. However last 3 months debit orders fluctuated from just over R1000 then R300 and now R4000. June was supposed to be my last month. Now it's not as one credit provider says their account is not settled. Monthly I go through my Hyphen PDA statement. This spesific creditor amou t dropped and dropped and then showed no amount owing. This is I called for. Since 2016 I've never missed one payment. When I phoned them to query they said on their side it says pad up and I'm done. They will start contacting creditors for letters and so forth. This morning however ymtjey notified me that owe this creditor over R 5000 still
