Unsatisfied

I have been laid off my job since last year and told Debtbusters that I could not afford the full amount, however, I can pay at least more than half of the initial amount. At first, they helped me but then it became a vague situation. I got affidavits upon affidavits to state that I can only afford this due to me not having a job. Since August 16 I have been sending the latest affidavit to state this and what do I get in return. Unfortunately, we can't open the attachment. Nevertheless, I left it to be deducted from my bank account. Now this month, I had to wait to receive funds again, and again I have made contact to tell them that my situation hasn't changed and if they could revert it to what I can afford to pay. Now sitting here, I have been sent left right and centre for the initial amount to be reduced only to get a message to say that an extra R300 more will be deducted from me and they can't stop payment. My worry is 2 of my smaller accounts should have been cleared by now. If I knew back then, what I know now, I would have figured out a way to settle my own accounts, but desperation to live a debt-free life shot me in the foot. These generic messages won't solve my problem.
