Unfair Withholding of my clearance certificate
I approached Debtbusters as I was over indebted. My debt review ahould’ve Come to an end in October 2017 but due to one of my accounts not being paid by Hyphen PDA for unknown reasons, my debt review lasted until January 2018. I have now repaid all of my debt as per my arrangement but Debtbusters are now withholding my clearance certificate. I have made numerous requests to them to supply me my certificate which they owe me, but they are choosing to ignore all requests. The one answer received was that they did not have all of my letters from former creditors, which I have offered to assist in getting but they are unable to tell me who is still outstanding. I am now having to pay a lawyer R3,500 to obtain what I have already paid for. After this experience, I would not recommend anyone make use of this company.
