True Review on Debt Busters

When I started this Rehabilitation process, it seemed like the right thing towards a Healthy Financial Life, and for a couple of years it seemed straight forward, make monthly installment and youll be covered. Ive even recommended people who struggle financially to call Debt Busters to assist.

Where the problems come in is with the admin on your accounts, your accounts are not regularly updated to give a true reflection of your balances. Earlier this year I pushed so hard to finish earlier with this Rehabilitation and made double installment payments for 3 months, and then 1 month came where l couldnt make payment due to significant salary cuts, and l was told by DebtBuster, theres nothing they can do, the previous double payments, doesnt count for anything. The past 3 months Id been able to make full installment payments... But during this time, Creditors deducted money from my account due to no payment received from Debt Busters, 1st it was Old Mutual who said they didnt receive payments, then it was my clothing account that was handed over to attorney last week, which l also had to make payment arrangement, tonight my phone goes off and its a total deducted by African Bank, this after l payed my monthly installments, which begs the question... Whats happening to the monthly installments? Because Im paying Debt Buster monthly installments and the Creditors are Debiting money from my account. So, my advice to everyone considering Debt Counseling is, if you have no other option then maybe give it a try till you get back on your feet, however please note, that if you miss a payment then, you might aswell start paying your account off yourself because, all Debt Buster will tell you is that theres nothing they can do, you breached the contract, asif you did so intentionally and purposely.

Also, my wife got a SMS from Vertex saying her account was handed over to them... I dont know where this account now suddenly pops out, because it doesnt show anything on my Smartscents profile.

So in conclusion, Debt Busters has the ability and the concept is there... But its not being executed right, once you signed up with them, you are just a number because they have you on their books, admin on your account doesnt get regularly updated, your accounts are never a true reflection, and as you come to the end of your term, then the relationship starts getting "Shady" and it seems like your balances are not getting any less, as mentioned Ive paid my installments on time for the past 3 months and only skipped payment once... But yet Creditors are Debiting straight from my account after Debt Buster debited their monthly installment too. Which is why I'll no longer pay them, Id rather settle my accounts directly myself, because I dont think that the money is going where it supposed to, if it did then l would not have had creditors Debiting my account due to "No Payment" and its not just one Creditor... Its 4 different Creditors in less then 2 months now (thus after 60% of my creditors I had when l started are all payed up now).

They do have wonderful staff members you liase with from time to time, but the systems they have in place, make you think that if youd arrange with Creditors and made direct payments directly... You would have finished much faster despite them proclaiming they negotiate for reduced interest rate on your accounts.
