The good become Bad

DebtBusters came as a rescue at a time when I thought I was sinking. They saved me from the point of being handed over to creditors from being over indebted. With their assistance I was able to get my financial affairs in order and even able to settle my debt review process a few month earlier than originally negotiated. That's when all my problems came back to haunt me. First disappointment came with the settlement negotiations. DebtBusters wasn't able to secure me with any settlement discount at all. I was told that when you settle your creditors earlier that you will probably get a discount from the creditor for early settlement - the fine print was the percentage Debtbusters charges you for the negotiations. DebtBusters charges you 30% + VAT of the discount they secure you. After that I had to keep sending emails to follow up on the negotiator on the progress of the negotiations. Once he informed me that he was unsuccessful, I again had to keep following up on him to get a status on my clearance. Once he had made all payments I was hand-over to a lady who was supposed to deal with my clearance. I could never get hold of her on the phone and she never return your emails or phone calls. SHe only contacted you when she felt you need to be contacted. Finally I was cc'd in an email to my creditors with the letters/clearance certificates from my creditors that all my accounts have been settled and that they need to issue me with a clearance certificate and forward that certificates to the credit bureau. I received a credit report reflecting that my only one of my accounts are still in arrears. I phoned consumer Friend. They told me that they hadn't received the invoice as DedtBusters never sent them the email. I in turn forward the email to consumer friend. When debtBuster sent them the email, they never included my ID in the subject heading, this caused my Clearance certificate to get lost in the paperwork.

I have referred friends & family to make use of DebtBusters and now I'm the one sitting with a problem.

All of these holdups caused by the staff has now caused that after settling my debt on 21/08/2020 and making another payment on 03/09/2020 after which I was told I would be getting my clearance at the end of September 2020 as all is in order. I'm now in October 2020 and have been told that I might only get my clearance some time next month...MAYBE?!?!?

Make you wonder if it's worth settling your debt early or if DebtBusters are doing this as a form of punishment as you have cost them loss of income from all the fees they are now losing out on. Even after settlement I had Hyphen PDA sending messages about my payment being late.
After all they're not the ones losing out on a opportunity to buy a property at a very good deal or desperately need a new vehicle.
