Lack Of Communication & Guidance
Making the decision to take control of one’s finances and pursue debt consolidation is not something that happens lightly. It comes after careful thought, honest reflection, and often a great deal of emotional strain. After extensively researching my options, reviewing various companies, and trying to understand the best path forward, I believed that choosing Debt Busters was the responsible and mature decision.
My initial interactions with your team were professional, informative, and reassuring. I felt confident that I had chosen the right partner to guide me through what is already a deeply stressful and vulnerable process.
However, the experience since then has left me feeling increasingly anxious and unsettled.
This has been a lengthy process, during which I have needed guidance and clarity at several points. I have also made significant changes to my debt profile, including the settlement of a substantial loan. Despite this, the updated repayment schedule I received last week still reflects the closed account. I followed up twice via email and have received no acknowledgement or response.
In addition, I was sent a 51-page Application for a Consent Order with the National Consumer Tribunal (NCT). Given the seriousness of such a document, I immediately requested clarification regarding what was required of me — whether it needed to be signed, initialled on every page, or if any further action was necessary. Once again, I have received no response, despite following up.
At this stage, I feel overwhelmed and deeply concerned that I may have made a mistake in entrusting this process to Debt Busters. Debt consolidation is not merely a financial transaction — it is an emotional journey, often undertaken during one of the most stressful periods in a person’s life. The silence and lack of communication have added significantly to that stress.
I am feeling disheartened and anxious about how to move forward, and I urgently need clarity on what my options are and what steps I should be taking next.
I would sincerely appreciate a prompt response.
