Do not use DebtBusters
<div>Please hear me very clearly. DO NOT get involved with DebtBusters. After reaching the end of my DR period, they have gone silent. I've sent fourteen emails to different email addresses including their so called escalation email at the ceos office and CRICKETS ! I have reported their refusal to communicate and breach of several acts of legislation to the NCR and even told them about it. STILL CRICKETS. They decided to just restart my debt review on their own with money that is not owing according to my credit report. In other words, they made it up to get more fees. Thankfully my bank, once reviewing the full NCR complaint, has suspended the debicheck although I have no doubt they will try to debit me anyway despite this also being an NCR violation. a month after ending my debt review my credit record is still not cleared, i am apparently still under debt review with new amounts and DebtBusters refuse to communicate (because they know what they are doing is *******).</div>

This silence perfectly reflects the pattern I raised in my original complaint: ignored correspondence, zero accountability, and a complete absence of service once they can no longer bill you.
At this stage, I have little reason to believe anyone will contact me. The moment you finish debt review and they can no longer collect fees, the support simply stops. Consumers are left waiting indefinitely for a clearance certificate that is legally required but routinely withheld without reason — leaving people stuck in debt review long after it has ended.
It’s extremely disappointing that DebtBusters can post polished promises publicly, yet take no actual action behind the scenes.
I will update this review if — and only if — someone eventually makes contact.

This is that update. Only after escalation through HelloPeter and direct intervention from the President of DCASA did DebtBusters finally issue my clearance certificate on 25 November 2025. This was not voluntary; it was reactive.
Immediately thereafter, despite confirming that my debt review had concluded, DebtBusters submitted an unauthorised debit to my bank account. I reversed it and escalated the incident to the relevant regulatory bodies.
DebtBusters also attempted to have this review removed, demonstrating a greater interest in managing public visibility than in correcting their own procedural failures.
The extent of escalation required — across HelloPeter, DCASA, the NCR, th credit bureaus, my bank, and multiple written records — speaks for itself.
I should never have had to pursue the matter this far.
They misjudged me as one of the many consumers they could silence rather than serve; instead, they revealed precisely why someone had to refuse to stay quiet.
