********** & DECEPTIVE: Placed under debt review without my consent!

I am absolutely disgusted by the ******* and deceptive practices at Debtbusters. I contacted them simply to get a quotation and find out exactly how much my outstanding debt was. I explicitly told the agent over the phone, multiple times, that they must not proceed with debt review. The agent explicitly promised me that providing my details was only to check my balances and guaranteed that it would not place me under debt review.

This was a complete lie.

Without my consent or any signed mandate, they went ahead and *******ly flagged my profile for debt review. Because of their actions, all my accounts are now frozen, and I am receiving letters from my creditors stating that collections are already in motion. To make matters worse, Debtbusters is completely ignoring my calls and *** now that they have trapped me in this situation.

They forced me into a financially paralyzing process under false pretenses and have ruined my credit standing. I have already escalated this to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) for a formal ***** investigation. Do not give Debtbusters your details, even just for a quote, because they will action a debt review without your permission. Avoid them at all costs.
