Debtbusters
Around 2015, during my divorce I saw an article about Debtbusters who assist people with their Debts, seeing that I had just been through a tough time and financially left in bad situation I contacted them. A recon was done for me after I had completed the forms and was put into debt counselling. After 2 years or so I realised that this has actually pushed me more backwards than going forward, the car that I was supposed to finish in 5 years it took me 7 years to finish. During that time I took myself out of debt counselling and started making payment arrangements on my own. After I have done that, I then went back to Debtbusters and asked that they remove my name from their records but was told I have to pay R5000.00. I'm in a predicament now as I cannot buy a house, I cannot do anything credit wise as I'm listed by Debtbusters. This people were supposed to assist me but I'm in more of a mess than I was previously. I have been sending emails and no response.
