Debt Review balances and refunds - dispute

Situation as explained several times to workers at Debtbusters.

My first payment for my debt review with Debtbusters was Dec 2016. The Court order was signed for the Total Amount of 170922.10 + plus minus 1.6% interest max per year. I have paid a total (including the insurance payment that paid out a total of R 82554.05 on 11/01/2018) of R 157,521.02 According to my HYPEN PDA STATEMENT and Easton Berry attorneys for my now Handed over RCS account I still have an outstanding balance of R47877.65 I have been with Debtbusters for 24 months now. Your fees that are visible on the statement is about R483.00. Now R483 x 24 = 11592.00 R170922.10 Court order approved amount plus 2 anums interest = 176,435.36 So, R176435.36 Debt R11592.00 Debtbusters fees for 24 months Total R 188027.36 R188027.36 Minus what I have already paid R157521.02 Total outstanding R30 506.34 I feel that is still more than what it should be. Now, where does the outstanding balance of R 47877.65 come from? Why if according to your PDA statement, you have already paid RCS R10351.91 and the court order was for R15024.00 am I still handed over to lawyers now for the second time for an outstanding amount of 12 760.45?

Why does a Debtbusters client of 2 years get handed over to lawyers for non payment of debt review accounts? How is this my responsibility to be liable for Collectors fees etc? My account was terminated from Debt review and I am now liable for all original interests and costs and arrears as per Easton Berry Collector. You were managing this account, you were responsible to pay it. You made no payments since Feb 2018 and I was first handed over to Sustainable collections. I sent a mail and you got the account back and now I have been handed over for the same issue on the same account to Easton Berry Collectors and my Debt review on that account has been terminated. I am literary being called 5 times a day about this account by Easton Berry now. Because they can not understand why I don't accept the balance outstanding that they are giving me. Can you please explain all of this to me? This is what was promised to me in Nov 2016: What are the BENEFITS of this process: • I will feel at peace that my debts are being handled by the experts, and I have a company standing behind me that believe I can become debt free. • I will have access to financial assistance and help with budgeting for the duration of the period. • My problems will be sorted, and all I have to do is make sure I make one simple payment per month. • My cash flow will increase insuring that I have money for things I NEED and possibly extra for thing I may want. • Decrease my stress so that I can focus on other things in my life. • Credit providers will stop hassling me and making me feel bad. • My home and car will be safe. • I can start to save for the first time in a long time. • I can focus on a positive future with a plan to be free with a count down.

I took you on your word. I had cancer and never for one day was I stressed about my accounts that was under Debt Review, as I believed it was in good hands. Meanwhile refunds was done on my Foshini and Edgars accounts for over R14000 and no one at Debtbusters or Hyphen PDA knows anything about that?

If I go through what people say on Hello Peter, I should really be worried. Who votes you as number 1 if you have so many unhappy customers?

I was promised that the issue will be resolved within 3 months. How can it possibly take that long and do you still want me to keep on paying my Debtreview instalment even though there is not 1 correct outstanding balance on the 6 accounts that you are "managing"?

For instance : account ending FNB****4568 Court Order Amount R1500, thus far you have paid R4187.69, an over payment of R2687.69 and the bank wants R7918.07 more? And you have never queried this with them or explained this to me.

I can go on and on, I am so tired of explaining this issue to people.

What am I to do?

I have not heard anything from Debtbusters, or any representative in connection with my issue as of yet. It has been 4 days now... you said someone will contact me within one day. What I have received however is a email reminding me to pay. May I please know what I am paying for, where the refunds that Foshini and RCS made to Debtbusters/ Hyphen PDA went. What are my actual balances? IS it legal for FNB FOSHINi EDCON RCS to keep charging original interest and also account fees? Why did I agree to go under Debt Review if you are not actually saving me any money? Now I have to pay you and I still have to pay the original amounts that I owed to my creditors and even more because all my accounts are in arrears and/or handed over to debt collectors that calls me every single day for payment. This Debt Review process is nothing like Lauren Tessendorf explained to me at all.
