Break Trust and Took my Provident fund withdrawal
<div>I was in a financially vulnerable position and had no funds available in my account. During this time, your team assured me that I would not be required to pay the June premium and explicitly advised that it was safe for me to proceed with a withdrawal from my provident fund to support my family.
This guidance directly influenced my decision. Had I not withdrawn from my provident fund, the premium would not have been collected, and as per your team's promise, I would not have paid for June. I acted in good faith, trusting the advice of professionals who I believed had my best interests at heart. Shortly after receiving the funds, however, DebtBusters debited my account—taking money that was meant to secure my family’s future.
Now, I am being told that I will not be refunded—not because of anything I did wrong, but because a separate lender (Wonga) refunded a debit that also should not have occurred. This justification is not only deeply unfair, but it also feels like a serious breach of trust and accountability. At no point was I informed that a refund from another lender would affect the refund I was promised by your team. There was no clause, no warning, and no condition shared with me that would have changed the fact that I was told I would not have to pay for June.
This situation is being deflected by your team, and no one is taking responsibility for the consequences of the advice I was given. This is not just about a financial transaction—it’s about the trust I placed in your organization, and the very real impact your guidance has had on my life and my family’s well-being.
I urge you to acknowledge the seriousness of this matter and take the necessary steps to resolve it with the integrity and accountability that your clients deserve.</div>
