Debt Therapy's bad service

I just discovered that the reason I cannot get credit anywhere is because I'm still wrongfully listed as being under debt review with the company called Debt Therapy. Even though my Clear Score report does not show that information, every time I would apply for credit I would be told I'm under debt review which was confusing. Until one company that works with NCR (forgotten name) called me to let me know on the low interest rate I could pay on loans I owe, then I was told I'm listed as being under review. Yes the history is I've been under debt review almost about 10 years ago and went off after a year, but apparently this company did not bother removing that information. I am now happily paying my debt with arrangements in place with my creditors and it's almost settled. What's said though is companies like this who don't value other peoples profiles. Someone there did not do what they are hired to do. I have since sent 2 inquiries and till date I have not received any response.

Dear Brenda,

I have had a look at your account with Debt Therapy and  can confirm the following.

1. You had an order granted by the National Consumer Tribunal on the 12th of August 2013. (This is like a High Court Order).
2. You stopped paying the court order.
3. We terminated our services as your Debt Counsellor as a result (This would have been after your account was at least 6 months in arrears).
4. You were fully informed that we had terminated our services and that you will still be listed as being under Debt Review. (We have mails confirming this).
5. By law we can't remove your Debt Review Status until such time that you clear all your Debts.
6. You have already stated that you have not paid off all your debt (Statement above). (AGAIN I reiterate we can't change the laws governing Debt Review as set out by the National Credit Act).
7. We have no record of you contacting our office as, we would have given you the same answer above.
8. If you have been granted Credit since coming under Debt Review it would be deemed as reckless and the creditor should not be able to collect on the debt.

Please feel free to contact our office or mail us at *** or call us on ***and we can discuss the matter further.

Dear Brenda,

Further to your complaint I can confirm that Debt Therapy will Happily issue you with a clearance certificate once you have paid off all your current debts (Those we put under Debt Review). All we need from you is proof that the accounts have been paid off.

There is no charge for this.

Regards
