Additional charges
Apply for debt counselling was the biggest mistake of my life. I am now far more in debt than what i was before and i am still expected to pay additional charges and a cancellation fee (which was never mentioned to me upfront)<br> I paid my first installment of R8900 which was the fee charged by Debt Therapy upon sign on. As far as i understand the maximun amount to be paid is R6000 ex VAT.<br> <br> It seems like all these debt counselling companies are looking more at self enrichment than at helping the general public.

How can we respond if they never reply to our requests? I will bet anything that we did nothing wrong and will post all communication regarding your complaint and allow the public to decide. Just respond.

I have now been able to access your details and can confirm the following.
- We charged fees as per the NCR Guidelines and can send you proof thereof.
- All fees are regulated by the NCR and your payments are made directly to a payment distribution agency for this purpose.
- You yourself missed numerous payments to your debt review. (I can post a Statement on this website showing fees collected and payments missed by yourself. (I have a total of 4 missed payments).
I believe that you have not been fully truthful in your statement above and will supply all info to Hello Peter should you request me to do so.
