Do not trust debt hero and do not believe anything they say

I was blatantly **** to and misinformed By my debt hero Here I thought they were going to help me pay of my debt with less interest and faster according to the consultant I spoke to. I kept asking what's the catch and she kept reassuring me there is no catch! First debit order went off 25/03/25 for R2600 noticed nothing was reflecting on my banking app showing payment was made. I emailed for 2 days no response. Obviously cause they knew know I was on to them, eventually I get a call from the consultant and she tells me no mam your first payment was for structure and our fee for taking on your case. I lost it and I told her I kept asking you what is the catch and you outright **** to me. And now my loan amount is higher due to non payment. She has the nerve to tell me no mam only from the third month will you start paying the loan. Month 2 will be allocated to our lawyers. I told her how could you lie like this to me and she tell me mam I explained this to you. I told her you did not You used fancy wording on email instead of telling me straight you will be paying us for 3 months before anything happens.

I then proceeded to say since you **** to me over the phone will this process still take me less that 3 years to pay off my loan and she says no mam it will still be 5 years. I was so so Angry and I feel I was played for a fool. I really trusted this consultant and I really thought they would help me. I told her so now not only am I paying you I still have to pay my loan and nothing is counting in my favour so why do you think I accepted your offer. Then I could gave just paid my bank back by myself in the same amount of time and without the expense of paying my debt hero. This consultant **** to me. I told her remove me from debt review allocated the payment to my Bank. I want nothing to do with your company you are ****s and you prey on innocent people trying to make ends meet.

I told her cancel everything and I want the recordings of Our conversation so her managers can hear how she **** and what I was promised. She tells me calls are not recorded cause it does not need to be and even if I cancel I will be stuck on debt review till I pay off my Loan.

How can these people get away with this. They **** to me and now it is my word against theirs. This is my money and my credit score that I have worked so hard to keep on good merit and now because I trusted someone I have been literally F..ed over. I have things I need to do I cannot be stuck on debt review for 5 years. She **** I only took this offer cause she said 2 years max 2 and a half years with thier help and reduced interest. 2 years was fine that is why I accepted but now I'm told it's still 5 years. My bebt hero are ****s and they are messing with people's lives. I want my name removed and the money I paid you to be allocated to my loan not to you because that is what I was sold over the phone. Stop using people that are just trying to get by. I have sent an email to them and I am still waiting for feedback. Because according to miss Mitchell calls are not recorded and I will be stuck on debt review even after they **** to me.
