Debt review ****
This company is a complete ****. Myself and husband went under debt review in 2017 through Algoa Debt review in Port Elizabeth. Then the company was taken over by DCSA not sure for what reason. The counselor contacted us informing us of the new change and reassure us that eveything is in order. We paid our installments and stop paying it because our debt was just not coming down seeing we were told that it will take 7 years which turned into 9 years. We approach a family member who is educated in this field who help assist us with paying our debt finish. We have stopped paying to the debt counselor in 2024 January and they have not contacted us in any way. We paid up all our debt and have the paid up letters but we can't reach the debt counselor because we need to get clearance. My husband reached out to the NCR for help. This company made big promises and didn't help us in anyway. When you phone or email their is always something either the debt counselor is overseas but he never comes back to the clients. His assistant is just a useless. This was just a money making thing. If I knew what I know now I would've never agreed to go under debt review. It's a complete **** in my opinion.

No feedback relating to my debt review accounts not being paid
I am currently under debt review with Debt Counselling Group South Africa since 2015, and I recently discovered that they are deducting money for my Buffalo City Municipality account, but it is not reflecting on the municipal bill. I have written DCGSA and the Registered Payment Distribution Agency DC Partners email correspondence for 3 weeks, to which they have yet to respond. I have every right to know what is going on, and it's been 4 months since my account has not been paid. I am very unhappy with the service from both companies.
