Scared that we'll get the pizza free

<p>At around 21:00, I went on my Debonairs App to see which branch was still open because my parents wanted pizza. I tried ordering but the Kromboom branch was closed as well as the one in Klipfontein Road. I then saw that the Claremont Branch was still open. I phoned them and asked if they delivered to the Athlone Areas and if they would charge and the cashier(who's name I cannot remember) told me yes and that delivery would be free because it's over R50. Jumping straight back on to the app I ordered my pizzas and got confirmation that it was accepted and was being prepared. I arrived at home and saw that they tried to contact me thinking that they were probably outside. I then phoned back and the cashier said that the manager was trying to contact me. I spoke to the manager and was told that their delivery guys didn't drive in Athlone because of the "5Km" distance rule. I got a bit upset because what did they expect me to do now? I was then transferred to the senior manager who tried explaining that they didn't know the area and whatever. Realising that that was bs I told them that I would pay but they kept on saying no, they can't and I had to collect it. Why would I insist on it being delivered if I could've picked it up? They told me that I had to just leave it because they don't deliver. I realized that they had that red dot thing and making them deliver would make it black and I would then get it free which is probably not what they would've wanted. So being very frustrated with the Claremont Branch because they just refused to help me shows they wouldn't have stuck to that policy.</p>
