Pathetic Service Debonairs Montclair

Placed a telephonic order for delivery @ 19:30 earlier this evening and was told I can expect delivery in 40 minutes from time ordering. By 20:30 there was still no delivery and after several failed attempts to contact the store between 20:30 & 21:00, to find out where my order was, my family was resigned to believing that our expected dinner was not forthcoming. (Especially since the Debonairs website states that the store closes at 21:00). The delivery eventually arrived at 21:10 which I swiftly rejected due to the pathetic service. I can understand the store being busy or an unforeseen delay, but surely the manager could have been proactive and inform/update customers accordingly. I have been a patron of several Debonairs in Durban, but have never come across such poor service. Having recently moved into the area and with this branch being the closest to home, its really disappointing that I will now have to look at alternatives to a regular family favourite.
