Paper-laced pizza courtesy of Debonairs Baywest!

I refer that on Thursday, 25 February 2021 I made a purchase of a large Chicken Filler pizza for R139.90 from Debonairs Baywest at 12:47.

In the midst of consuming the pizza on my arrival at home, I discovered that pieces of paper were somehow interlaced with pizza filling and/ or dough (base).

It was horrifying and displeasing, to say the least, to find the food in such a poor and lacklustre state. The presentation of it didn’t help too much either as the tomato slices were either cut too thick or semi-raw.

I am of the view that careful and meticulous consideration of the customer’s health ought to be taken into full account when preparing food, which by whatsoever range of restaurant practices, the consumer does not get a first-hand look into as preparations happen away from eyeshot.

I am of the view that the business ought to process a full refund or offer up some kind of redemption for the poor quality of food and subsequent consumption of it, which, in and of itself, could pose potential health risks or associated complications.
