Order just never came

<p>On the 25th of November 2017, I ordered a chicken Triple-Decker with a Crammed-Crust meal, as well as some desert Pop-Itz from Debonairs pizza Bloemfontein-CBD (order number ********** ). I ordered at 20:25 on the mobile application. By 21:20, I started to get a bit anxious, as the payment had already gone through, and I have not received a call from the delivery guy. I called the restaurant several times, with no answer. By 21:30, somebody finally answered the phone. She assured me that my pizza was on its way. A few minutes later, the pizza appeared-still no call from the delivery guy, though. I was standing outside of the building, waiting patiently when I saw the delivery guy on his way. He was very friendly and explained that on the 25th of every month, Debonairs is very busy, as it is payday for most people. I overeagerly took the pizza and the sides from him and hastily returned to my room. On opening the box, the whole pizza was in pieces: the three layers of pizza were everywhere. The box was squished and all of the cheese was left on the top of the box. The pizza layers weren't aligned even remotely and all of the toppings were laying on the one side of the box. Further, the desert Pop-Itz were in pieces as well. The marshmallows were stuck to the top of the lid and the chocolate sauce was on the bottom of the silver bowl. I was contempt, though. </p> <p>Today, on the 28th of November 2017, I had ordered an On the double meal for my roommate and me (order number 1 ********** ). I ordered through the app again, which is an easy process and paid online. This time I had ordered at 20:37. By 21:48, I attempted to call the restaurant again. Once again, I had to call a few times before the phone was answered. The lady at the phone assured me that the pizzas were definitely on their way and explained that the electricity had been off. I went outside, sat and waited for my pizzas to arrive. They never did. Two hours later, at 10:30 pm, I attempted to call the restaurant again. A lady answered the phone and explained that the electricity had been off. When I asked her whether or not my food was on its way, she asked me a few questions to confirm which order I was and said no. The pizzas were not on their way, nor were they going to be. This is utterly disappointing. At half past ten, where does a person get to order food in Bloemfontein?! When I asked her about the money I had paid online, she asked me to come in to the shop torrow morning to get a refund (only). The reason that I order food from Debonairs in the first place is that I do not have a car. Further, my roommate and I do not have food for the night as we had not bought any groceries, because we are only in Bloemfontein for about one more week. I guess I should just suck it up and go sleep hungry then? #ByTheWayDoesThisTechnicallyMakeMyPizzaLate?</p> <p>Currently, I don't feel like ordering from Debonairs again...</p>
