Legal Action will be taken against Debonaires Zewenwacht Mall

First of all, the 1 star was necessary in order for me to write a review BUT just now that I DON'T RATE THAT BRANCH AT ALL!

Placed my order on the 06/05 at 15h53 to be exact. At 18h02 - just before we broke our fast (I am Muslim and we are in the month of Ramadaan) i called the call centre and someone answered. I explained my situation and the lady (didn't get her name) advised that they are experiencing backlog and my order is still in store. Note, that was at 18h02 when i spoke to that lady, so basically it was already 2 hours of waiting time. We proceeded to break our fast and continued to wait for our Pizza. I am writing this review today 07/05 at 15h29 to be exact and i have still not received the pizza let alone feedback from anyone! We paid for the Pizza online so not only did we lose the money, we also had no supper! At 19h00 the app closed and advised that they are now closed as Level 4 lockdown restrictions only allow delivery from 07h00 - 19h00 - Just like that we had to accept the fact that we will not be receiving our Supper and it is too late to make alternative arrangements as all shops only trade until 18h00. According to the Call Centre, the complaint has been escalated at it will take 24-48hours to receive feedback. All odds are against us - THE PAYING CUSTOMER! Debonaires is not interested in trying to resolve our issue and for that I unfortunately cannot leave it like this...I will make sure that i contact every single newspaper out there to expose the branch. Furthermore, i am going to seek legal advice to get the license revoked - given all the bad reviews already received, that shouldn't be hard to prove! I will make sure that this ends with me and that they will not be able to do this to anyone else! I am not looking for sympathy but we fasted the entire day and for Debonaires not even having the decency to call us and inform us that they wont be able to deliver - that is just PATHETIC AND DISRESPECTFUL! And for that reason, i will make it my personal duty to make Debonaires Zewenwacht Mall pay for what they did to me and everyone else.

I am not interested in your story as to why you couldn't deliver - The point is you you took my money knowing you wont be able to render a service - that in my opinion is a **** and Debonaires ****** us. For as long as they are not contacting us the fact will remain that they stole our money and did not render a service - that is a ******** offence and will be dealt with as such!
