If it's late it's not free

Since it was my birthday Debonairs pizza was kind enough to send me a voucher worth R50 for any purchase more than R100. I placed an online order for delivery through their Dobsonville outlet and an sms confirming my order was sent immediately at 17:14.

After numerous calls asking about my order it was finally delivered at 18:50 by a rude driver, the pizza was cold (black dot) and when I wanted it for free as their policy states the driver refused to give it to me for free cause "he wasn't prepared to pay for something he didn't eat". The driver was so rude to the extent that he didn't even want to tell me his name.

Why would such a franchise not for fill their number one commitment which has drawn people to buy from them? This is totally unacceptable service, rather disgusting if you ask me but what would be better is that you change your marketing **** line to "if it's late it's free....only at our discretion " that way people can know what they are in for.

To top it all off the voucher is marked as redeemed. So thank you Debonairs Pizza for the sloppy service and the voucher.
