ICE COLD PIZZA IN 3 HOURS

On Friday, the 05/02/2021 at 18:42, I had placed an order via your app (Order No: ***0) for delivery from Dainfern Square. I waited well over an hour before contacting the restaurant (as the tracking system on the app was off). Once I contacted the restaurant at 19:50, I enquired about my order and was told that the store is very busy, and the order was ready for delivery the driver is leaving the store now. I continued waiting until 20:30, when I called twice again the call kept ringing and getting cut. At 21:20pm, I decided that this was ridiculous and made my way to the store only to find my order still at the store not out yet for delivery! The manager was completely useless (as per usual) and refused to be of any assistance, he kept hiding behind the excuse that they were busy, I did tell him that 3 hours waiting time is ridiculous and there should have been some communication if the store was at capacity. Thereafter he had offered to refund my delivery fee of R15 since I came to fetch my order. On my way out the store I realized that the box was cold, when I opened the box the pizza was ice cold, when I showed this to the manager, he offered me a free 1,5 Litre cooldrink. This type of service is extremely disgusting. 3 hours waiting time, ice cold pizza, pay for delivery and I had to fetch my order, *********** staff. On the day I emailed the customer care email from the app and received an undelivered message (probably company policy ”nothing gets delivered”).
