Horrible delivery service

<p>I have honestly never been so disappointed in any pizza place than I was with debonairs pizza last night. I ordered one large (30cm) something meaty original base from Debonairs pizza on corner North Reef and AG De Wit Street, Rietfontien, Gauteng, South Africa to be delivered. I placed the order online at precisely 19:39 and at 19:40 I received a message stating, and I quote "Hi Ashleigh, we've received your order for delivery from Debonairs Pizza Mintys Rietfontien :) Review your order at ...". Expecting them to be about 45 mins max, we waited patiently for our pizza to be delivered. At exactly 20:32, after waiting for 53 minutes, we decided to give them a call. The lady that answered was atleast kind with the matter even though I was highly annoyed. She told me she was trying to get a hold of the driver. So we ended the call. After another 21 minutes, at 20:53 we called again. She said the same thing that she was still trying to get a hold of the driver but he was not picking up. Then again after another 23 minutes we called again (at 21:16) this time she said she will call in 5 minutes to let me know what was happening with the driver. When she called again at 21:29, she explained that the driver was new and he did not know the place well and that they were very busy. This is understandable as Friday nights are often very busy for pizza places. Eventually the pizza delivery guy stopped infront of our gate at around 21:37. We got our pizza and paid for it. After waiting 2 entire hours for our pizza, we did not care whether it was hot or cold. The reason I'm complaining is because even though it is a Friday night, every Debonairs should have atleast 2 delivery guys delivering the pizzas each day, no matter how "busy" they might get. They need to better their plans and train each driver to deliver at a faster pace. Waiting 2 hours just for a pizza is NOT right. Never has been and never will be!</p>
