Fly baked in Debonairs Pizza Belhar (Cape Town)

Complaint I ordered a delivery from the Debonairs Belhar branch. The pizza arrived squashed, loose in the box, and soggy. After two slices were eaten, we discovered a green fly baked into the cheese. I attempted to call the store multiple times. Calls were unanswered or dropped. As the order was a delivery, the store should have arranged collection. Instead, I had to travel to the branch at my own expense while unwell to obtain a refund. I sent a formal complaint to head office with photos and followed up again. It has now been over a week with no response, no explanation, and no reassurance regarding food safety or corrective action. I am not seeking extreme compensation. I simply expected proper acknowledgment, accountability, and communication after such a serious hygiene issue. Outcome expected A formal response, confirmation of corrective hygiene action at the branch, and a reasonable goodwill resolution.
