False Advertising or Integrity lacking customer service?

<p>Last weekend I opened my debonairs pizza app to buy a large pizza and a 2L of coke.</p> <p>I then saw a special offering a FREE 2L coke for each purchase of 2 Large pizzas.</p> <p>I placed the order @ the plumstead branch.</p> <p>The Delivery guy showed without my Coke and then gave me a lame riddle story with ended like this "My manager said if you ask about the coke, i must tell you to look at the debonairs website"???</p> <p>I went to the site, saw exactly what i saw on the app, buy 2 large pizzas and get a free 2L coke.</p> <p>I then called the plustead branch, spoke to the manager (who introduced himself as Lance)</p> <p>I explained the situation and gave him all the details that he asked about the order.<br />By the way, i ran out of airtime after i had given him all my details and he did not even bother to call me back.<br />Long story longer... i managed to call him again and he agreed that my dissatisfaction was legit and that he would sort it out...<br />Well he never did, and judging by the tone of his voice i honestly didn't believe that he was going to.<br />He just sounded like to someone who was just telling me what i wanted to hear.</p> <p>So there i was with 2 pizzas and nothing to drin**** Mind you i had intention to buy the coke if wasn't for the "False" advertising or poor service. I ended up having to walk to the shops @ 8pm to get something to drink. <br />Needless to say, don't expect me to buy pizza there again.<br />I might be a just drop in the ocean when it comes to your market share but remember that a man dying of thirst in the desert would pay anything for that same drop.
