Do NOT buy from debonairs

On the 23rd of September, I placed an order for delivery on the debonairs pizza app at exactly 9am. I paid online and the order was accepted immediately by the restaurant..

1 hour passed by and my order was still not delivered, so I decided to call the restaurant and was told that the driver left a while ago so he should be there soon in the next 10 mins or so. (Bare in mind i stay within a 5km radius).

Another 30 mins passed and I decided to check up on my order again, this time I was put on hold and thereafter the call went straight to voicemail..

Waited another 15 mins to call again, this time I was transferred to the manager who ever so rudely told me that the driver is on his way, when I asked for an estimated time he blatantly told me that he doesn't know and that I should just wait.

Yet another 15 minutes went by and I decided to wait outside for the guy.. Not sure how long I waited there but he eventually showed up. When I asked him why he took so long, his response was that he couldn't find the house. I was very confused, you mean to tell me he was lost for over an hour? And he didn't bother to phone me or the restaurant for help? Haha what a joke.

So he starts unpacking the pizzas onto the pavement outside my house. Seriously? On the floor? I had no words. I was in total shock.

I also noticed that the boxes had been smashed in. As if someone sat on it on the one side.. I kept thinking to myself, could this get any worse??!?! I mean this is horrific..

The really funny part though, you know those heat stickers you guys have on the boxes? If it's red it's still hot, and if it's black it's cold and free? That sticker was still RED! LOL strange, after almost 1 and a half hours after preparation, the pizza was still "hot" according the box. Literally in a space of less than 5 minutes after taking it out of the delivery bike and into my kitchen the sticker dot went black -.- LOL I wonder how that happened.. Haha another big joke..

Opened up the box and the pizza was cold, the cheese had even dried up.. It tasted terrible. It was dry, the cheese was hard, the pizza base was hard, the overall quality and taste of the pizza was horrific.. It tasted like pizza that was days old..

I am shocked and appalled... This is unacceptable and disgusting customer service... I will NEVER buy anything from Debonairs ever again!!

***the above email was sent to customer care and this has still not been resolved. I have not received a response in over a week.. Everything about debonairs is an utter disappointment and disgrace!!
