Today I ordered food from debonairs pizza vorna valley using uber eats and selected the leave at the door option. I have a chronic condition (endometrisosis) and I was in pain I couldn't walk to the gate. The driver left the food at the gate on the ground (the ground is wet due to the rain). Uber is saying that my order is not eligible for a refund. We are in the middle of a pandemic and leaving food on the wet floor is unhygienic and unprofessional. In my complex, they are about 90 complexes what are the chances that I would find the food on the wet ground outside the gate. The driver had the audacity to leave the food on the ground and take a picture and send it on the app and report that he delivered the food.
