delivering pizza with Avocado that is out of date

I ordered pizza via the phone from some lady. Once I had chosen the pizza I wanted, I then asked for avocado to be added as an extra topping, to my surprise the lady I was ordering from told me they had Avocado In their kitchen but It did not appear on her system hence I could not have that topping. I then asked if I can talk to her senior, she did put me through and i was told by her manager that I can have the topping, I then proceeded and placed the order. My pizza did arrive on time but sadly the avocado topping i had asked for was out of date and had even changed colour to non appetising colour. I then asked the delivery guy to return back with the pizza, not sure if i was being punished for asking for what was not on the system or the chef Is just not good enough.
