Debonairs Pizza Northgate Rotten Service.

I placed an online order at 18:05 on Saturday, 2 May 2026. I selected the Northgate branch for delivery. I received an email confirming my order immediately afterwards. At 18:37 I got a call from the store informing me that my order cannot be delivered and I should collect it because the delivery company does not do delivery in my area after 6pm.

I then stated that I could not collect and would like a refund, but was informed that the store could only refund me on Monday. I then said I would arrange for my order to be collected and was informed that my order had not been prepared, a good 30 minutes after it was placed and confirmed????

I asked why my order was not ready when I had placed it 30 min ago, and why I was only notified about the delivery issue 30 minutes after my order was placed and the caller said they was nothing she could do, I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager, I asked her how I could escalate the matter and she said all I could do is speak to the owner, who is on holiday and doesn't take calls. So I had no food, no refund and Debonairs could do nothing about it????

The "manager" was so nonchalant, she couldn't care less. I asked how I could escalate the matter and she said they is nothing I could do but wait for my refund on Monday, I asked her if my only option to escalate this matter was to take it to the socials and she said "if it pleases you" . She refused to give me her name and hung up the call.

I then found the customer service contact number online and laid a complaint . Case no. CAS-***-T9H1K0. I was informed that the name of the store manager I spoke to was Portia.

To the owner of the Northgate branch, Portia, the person that you have entrusted to represent your business as a manager is a rude, ***********, a callous individual that will run your business to the ground. Portia please stop taking out your personal issues on innocent customers.

It is Thursday, 7 May 2026 and I not recieved my refund, I would like my refund asap.
