Debonairs Pizza Competition
My wife entered a Debonairs pizza competition when you buy any large pizza then you get a black sticker, then you follow the inside instructions on how to enter and win prizes, the followed every step then she got a sms that says she won a SPA VOUCHER OF R300 @ Mangwanani Spa. When she tried to contact Debonairs in order to redeem the voucher they are sending her from pillar to post and they dont respond to the emails.
She is a customer and have a right to redeem what she has won.. Then we contacted FAMOUS Brand branch in East London, the company where Debonairs is under so that we can lay a complaint as Debonairs is Misrepresenting, Misleading her as a Customer, and no proper response from them either.
Now we are thinking of reporting to the Competition Commission of South Africa this matter as well. And many people are buying their Pizza with the hope of winning their Competitions.
We need assistance, we understand that R300 is nothing but the Consumer protection Act and Competition Commission doesn't allow such practices and it must be a lesson to them as a Franchise not to mislead customers.
Bookings must be made and paid for prior to arrival by calling ***within 3 months of receipt of voucher.
· R300 voucher is redeemable on Standard Packages (Full Day, Half day & Moonlight Night Spa) and 60 Minute Individual Treatments or longer only.· R300 voucher is not redeemable on any special offers or products.· The voucher cannot be redeemed at Mangwanani Beverly Hills and Mangwanani Palazzo.· Cancellation of bookings or failure to show up at the appointment will result in a 100% forfeit of
