Debonairs lies to customers

I ordered two pizzas on the debonairs app at 16:30 and I couldn't select my location since it was abit far, so I asked them to deliver at the mamelodi hospital entrance since that was the most convinient location and it is 10mins away from debonairs tshwane regional mall. I immidiately went and parked at hospital entrance. I called them an hour later to follow up on my order then they said its out for delivery,, then 30 mins later i called them again and they tolde the same thing.. I waited and waited and called them again they explained that orders are delaying due to the pandemic cause they are short staffed but they said i should wait cause the driver is out.. Again I believed them and kept on waiting.. I only left at 21:30 since they were not answering my calls anymore.. I understand that things are not back to normal yet however it is only fair that you communicate with customers, they should have informed me that the order has been cancelled or whatever the case might be... It really wasn't nice... Waiting a whole 5 hours for nothing... Please improve your customer service
