Customer service sucks at Bluedowns

On the 27th of February 2023 I encountered an experience that will never make me buy or support Debonairs again. I placed an order online and paid for my order. A few minutes later, the delivery driver called to notify me that they don't deliver in the specific requested area.

I demanded to speak to the manager and asked If this was an instore policy due to safety or does it come from their head office... they manager gave some lame excuse as to why.

He however requested a refund and it'll take up to 5 working days. He then suggested that I can get the driver halfway at Engen Hindle road. To which I agreed and I booked an Indriver to collect the order and deliver it to the intended recipient at the address.

Upon receiving my order and me making online payment to the Indriver, the driver took off with my pizza and the money I paid for the service.

I tried contacting the store manager to notify him of what has happened to me. No one picked up and I called the call centre and listed my grievance and disappointment. The call centre apologized and asked the manager to give me a call back.

I got a call from the manager and he told he that he is only calling me because the call centre requested him to do so. And why did I complain at the call centre because the big bosses saw the complain. He could've worked something out for me but it already went via the call centre.

I called the call centre a month later again and they told me that they'll refund my entire order for me at the store sns apologized for the inconvenience. All I had to do was collect my order and the store.

Upon arriving at the store, the manager on duty told me no, the call centre doesn't have a say and they can't anything about it.

I called the call centre again and the call centre again told me it was sorted out, the store will call me... the store eventually called and told me that they won't do anything about it... I should complain at Indriver and I never heard from them again.

I received bad customer service from the minute I placed my order until the minute I was looking for a solution based upon their recommendation.

This all left a sour taste in my mouth and I'll never order pizza from Debonairs again.
