Cold pizza with a managers attitude for dinner

I called and placed an order with their call center at 18:50 for the Vosloorus branch, for a large triple decke with extra cheese crust. I was advised that the order will arrive in an hour, at 20:12 I tried calling the call center again to follow up on my order but got a voicemail advising that they have closed for the day.

At 20:32 as i was preparing to leave the house to see what I can still get for dinner their driver called that he is outside, I asked him how is that it took an 1 hour 40 minutes for the pizza to be delivered he said they were busy and that they do not have a lot of drivers. I asked him for the contact details of the manager on duty as I am not happy at all with this service.

He have me a cellphone number and i was advised that Palesa is the manager i explained to her my dilemma and the fact that the pizza was cold and the indicator was already black, she told me that the call center did not verify with them as to how busy they are but she will take it up with them in the morning. I asked what am i expected to do in the interim as I had prepared to have pizza for dinner, she just told me that I must give the pizza to the driver as she doesn't me saying that I received a cold pizza of which is the case.

I decided to drive to the store to get clarity as to the level of service or lack of it, I got to the store and spoke to the same Palesa and her attitude was appalling to say the least. I showed her the picture I took when i received the pizza and that the box clearly stated that if "on presentation the dot is not red the pizza is free" she just LAUGHED and said yes but if it is not red and cold! I asked her to show me where the cold part is stated and she showed me a napkin that says TCs apply so in their case they were busy and the call center didn't confirm with them.

She told me that i can wait for a new pizza to be made, that was at 21:04 that one would be hot and problem solved. I have never been so disgusted by her attitude I just walked out of the store and had to make alternative arrangements for what to have for dinner.

With this lack of service experienced I would definitely never set foot in any of your stores in future.
