Closing times debate and rude staff members!

This is a genuine request that you make clear the closing times of your stores, and also make sure that both the customers and the waiters (staff) are on the same page regarding this, because this whole closing time debate is ruining my Debonairs experience, everytime I visit the shop to try something amazing.

Yesterday I arrived at the Debonairs Engen Garage Parktown, Johannesburg to buy pizza for supper, and just when I was about to order, at 20h50, I was rudely told that they are no longer taking orders because they'll closing soon, but the store is said to close at 21h00. I was so confused and I still am.

Is this allowed? Is this the correct Debonairs Service Delivery?

I genuinely want to know what is the point of putting closing times if customers are told that they can't order if they come a few minutes before the actual closing time? Why then not put a sign that says “we don’t close till 21h00, but YOU BETTER NOT COME IN AFTER 20h30”? So that customers are aware and will know exactly what to do and what not to do, and maybe also update your website with the same notice so that we avoid being shown hatred by your waiters.

Please please clarify, because this is frustrating!!
