Call center + Debonairs Pizza = Rival's pizza across the street

Firstly, we called the call centre at 18h06 to place an order for 2x large pizzas for delivery. After struggling a few minutes to get the address registered as the lady on the other end of the line simply ***********, we decided to go and collect instead, and placed our order for collection. Arriving 18h42 at the branch where the order was placed, we've been told that the order was never received, and that we can order again over counter but we will have to wait one hour. I requested to discuss the matter with the manager, just to find out she is busy with another customer with the exact same issue. The manager then mentioned that she will check on the system if our orders was received, and took my number to notify me. It is 20h21 now and we are still waiting on the manager to get back to us.

Frustrated, we decided to go to their rival across the road, where we received our pizza within 20mins from ordering, even though they were just as busy.

Thanks to the rival, I am sitting now with a full belly, waiting on my call from Debonairs to explain what happened... And also waiting for the manager to get back to me
