Bad service at Debonairs Braamfontein

The service we received from Debonairs Pizza in Braamfontein was nothing short of insulting. I placed an order at 11:55 on the app and requested for the pizza to be delivered at 12:45... between 12:50 and 13:15, I made multiple phonecalls to the restaurant to find out why the pizza was late and I was told that they could not track the driver but the pizza had already been taken for delivery... At 13:40 I spoke to the manager Simba on the phone who then agreed that the pizza would be free because it was so late. The pizza eventually arrived at 14:10 and the driver explained that he had just been given the pizza and then he procuded a hand-written receipt while he explained that the pizza was not initially part of the orders he was meant to deliver. On top of that, the manager then goes back on his word saying the pizza will only be free if it's cold. This is a clear indication of ********** behaviour on the part of the restaurant as they didn't make our order on time and theb made a new one to be delivered later just so that the manager could go back on his decision to make the pizza free.

I resent the fact that they tried to trick me into paying for a pizza that was was well over an hour late. Needless to say that I will no longer be utilising the services of Debonairs Pizza in Braamfontein. I hope other franchises offer more professional services.
