Account debited but no pizza delivered

On the 1st August I ordered a pizza using the debonairs app from their Protea Gardens branch and the store accepted my order and debited funds from my account. 5 minutes later, they send an email saying they will not deliver the pizza and the funds will be reversed. The funds have not been reversed till now. Why cant the reversals be as quick as taking the money. My family and I then had to go and buy something else and pop out money again. I want my money.
