2 hour delivery to house 1.4km away

Last night my mother ordered a pizza from Debonairs Pizza at 19:50 and she paid for it in the store. Since we do not have a car and my mother had shopping bags with her, she asked that the pizza be delivered at our home which is 1.4km away from the store. 1 Hour later at 20:51 our pizza was still not delivered and we phoned the store. The lady that picked up the phone told us that our pizza was ready and is there. She gave us a story of how busy the store is and about drivers that left and things like that. Honestly after 1 hour of waiting for food that has already been paid we just didn't care. At 21:00 I left for work and could not wait for the pizza. After 1 hour and 49 minutes a delivery lady phoned me at 21:39 to ask me where exactly our home is. I explained to her how to get to our house. When she delivered the pizza to our house she handed over the pizza. Before she left my mom called her back to show her that the pizza is cold and she in turn tried to explain with whatever kind of story. It took almost 2 hours to deliver a pizza to a house that's 1.4km away. Completely and utterly unacceptable.
