Experts at making you feel worthless

At 15:15 today I called these people with the hope that they would be able to assist me. I spoke to a lady who asked me for my phone number as there were no one available to help me sign up. I said to her I would prefer to hold as I do not want to receive calls from debt companies. (I have been in this program before and do not want my wife to know I need it again) and also, I am afraid that my co workers might see that a debt company calls as I have truecaller on my phone, and then suspect something. I explained this to the lady, and she made me hold for a long time. When she answered again, she said sorry, they can not take my call right now. I have to give my number to be called back. I said to her that I really do not mind holding, but she insisted. So I said I would go to another company and she said it is fine.

As I said, I have been under this type of program before, go look for yourself, my ID is ***. And to start of by having to almost beg someone to stay on the line until there is an opening? I mean, it was me paying for the call. And then when I say I will go to another company, not trying to keep me and assist me?

You guys made me feel so bad today, here I am, all desperate and in need of help, I took the step, and I got pushed away. You just lost a great client and commission.
