Advantange taken and grounds gained by force.
Late 2017, I was contacted by DC EXPERTS with the idea that they were going to assist with a suitable option to settle my debt with Capitec. The agent that handled my case at the time failed to clearly disclose in depth about what the process would entail and that my rights as a consumer would be stripped away from me.
After a few months of working with them I realized that I was red listed and could not even secure a mortgage for my family or let alone find alternative employment on the bases that my ITC was tarnished to the highest degree.
At the time of signing up with DC experts I had one debt noted on the ITC which was with Capitec bank and the agent that dealt with my case kept on pushing me and putting pressure so that I also disclose other accounts that I had defaulted on which I ended up sharing with her, however that the debt was prescribed. What I am now of the opinion with is that they were trying to ensure that they had sufficient grounds to declare me over indebted and could not handle my affairs for a loan amount of R60 000.00 owing at the time to Capitec bank.
When I asked for the telephone records between myself and the agent that signed me up with DC EXPERTS they were quick to tell me that they don't keep voice logged calls, of which I am of the view that they have an obligation to keep all records for at least 5 years, I am 100% sure that they never disclosed the debt review process to an extent that I understood clearly.
This company is full of crocks and people who do not take due care to ensure that their client base is well informed about their decisions as long as they secure their commission cut or as long as they are able to ruin a person's life.
Think twice research about this company as they don't have a body/department for a person to raise complaints or foul play aside from their own staff members I can quote one by the name of Bernice Koekemoer.
This is the worst process you may ever find your self in - more especially if you don't research enough before you act, be careful if you read this and don't be pressured into making decision more especially from a company you don't know claiming that they will help you.

We've tried to resolve your complaint internally to the best of our ability and explained why we are unable to remove the debt review flag from your name and informed you of the options to have this removed. We've even gone so far to refund you the initial debt counseling fees paid to assist you in getting some accounts settled so we can assist you to get the clearance certificate issued at no cost.
All information around the debt review process was explained to you and then confirmed on a documents called a form 16 which you continued to sign and gave us permission to review your profile and thereafter you were found over indebted by our debt counselor.
Again as mentioned in the last email sent to you by Bernice Koekemoer with the proof of refund done, we are committed to assist you but can only do so in line with the guidelines we as a debt counselor need to adhere too.
