I've been having difficulty getting a confirmation of paid up letter from Capitec and have givenbthe runaround until I contacted DC Expert who kindly has seen me thtough the period in between my retirement date and the yime my pensoon was paid out. She promised to contact the bank and get back to me the next day as it was a bit late in the day but wow! 5 minutes later, I got a call from her stating she's gonna mail the bank to write off whatever balance was showing as I was inside the bank when my settlement amount was determined by them and payment was made based on the amount owing. I made a request for a letter confirming the settlement and closure of the account(s)but they're still open and are accruing interest on a monthly basis even though I've been blocked from using them. A few minutes later I received an email to which I was copied to the bank demanding write off of the balance owing and a settlement and closure letter. This is top notch service!!
