Worst college ever

My experience with Damelin College seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary with how lectures and classes were attended while I was still enrolled at the school. My problems however all started upon completion of my course.

I started my PC Support course in 2019 and it was supposed to be a one year qualification with a heavy focus on the practical side of things, as it came with experiential learning which was intended to give us an idea of what things would be like on the work environment as well as a means to better equip us with the skills we'll need as we were meant to be fully qualified junior technicians upon completion of the course.

When it came time for us to receive our results almost all of the students I had attended classes with had already lost interest and most did not show up for the supplementary exams at the beginning of 2020, before the pandemic shook the nation that is.

After numerous attempts to obtain my certification as a means to secure an internship and further my background in the field of I.T I have yet to receive a single form of feedback or even been shown a copy of my results so I am aware of how I performed throughout the year. As a result of this I have been forced to miss multiple opportunities where companies would offer me a position as an intern on the condition that I'd produce a copy of my results or provide them with evidence of my qualifications.

After paying close to R40 000 for the course, all I've received from Damelin are excuses on excuses as to when I will be receiving my certificate. Numerous attempts to get a statement of my results have also failed as I've either been told that my portfolio of evidence is still with the invigilator or that the person in charge of student results is not available on that day.

At this point all I want are my results and certificate so that I can seek employment in my field of study.
