USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to use every social media platform to warn all prospective students against Damelin Correspondence College, aka DCC.

I’ve registered for my Diploma in Business Management in January 2016 – After waiting four months to receive my study material and course information (14 April 2016), I was finally informed that my assignments must be submitted on 1 April 2016.

On top of that, I received an e-mail in March 2016, stating that we should be registered for external examinations in February 2016.

So, I confirmed with the student advisors that I may continue my first semester in, what was supposed to be my second semester. Which was okay, UNTIL I requested for an extension – which took DCC nine months to resolve.

First things first, DCC NEVER mentions anything about the fact that you should register for external examinations at ANOTHER FET College, pay THEIR fees and collect your Statement of Results at this college where you’ve registered.

So, after writing my examinations, it took DCC approximately 11 months to process my results, BUT – DCC is not so bothered with actually submitting your term marks to the DHET in order for the DHET to process a Statement of Results.

Vinesh Monsamy promised to assist me in receiving my results in 2017, up until today, I’ve NEVER heard anything from him.

So, another battle starts. We were promised to receive our results in February 2018 for the 2017 examinations, in order for us to register for the June examinations in March 2018. Up until today, I’ve not received my results, which means that I’m unable to register for my last examination session.

I am in contact with a student adviser, Grace Riddles, who promised to register me so that she can have time to retrieve my results. She only sends me what the DHET sends her.

After talking to a lady at the college where I write my examinations, they confirmed that DCC did not submit our terms marks, and that is why I can’t receive my results.

My employer paid for the course in full, this was supposed to be my last semester. I am unable to write my final examination as Grace Riddles did not register me as promised AND I still haven’t received any feedback regarding my results.

DCC does not answer calls.

DCC does not provide any support.

DCC does not provide true information.

When you log a complaint, DCC turns their head.

You pay DCC to struggle, not to obtain a qualification.

Do you have any idea how you crush a spirit that knew he/ she would have graduated this semester?!

I have done everything from my side; how can DCC keep me from achieving my qualification? Does that not defeat the purpose of a tertiary institution?
