Unresolved Refund Claim from Damelin Mowbray t/a Educor– Now Escalating to Legal Action

In 2019, I enrolled at Damelin Mowbray Campus, now operating under Educor (Pty) Ltd, and fully paid for a course that unfortunately, due to personal reasons I had dropout of. Despite following all internal refund procedures and numerous follow-ups over the years, I have still not received my refund.

I was promised the matter would be resolved, yet my emails and calls have been consistently ignored or deflected.The lack of urgency from both campus and head office staff is deeply disappointing, especially for an institution entrusted with students' futures. I've been given at least 3 payment dates over the years and none of those payment dates have been honoured. While the institution does acknowledge the due refund they have repeatedly failed to make the payment as promised.

After exhausting all reasonable avenues, I have now issued a Letter of Demand and intend to proceed to the Small Claims Court should I not receive payment within the legally stipulated timeframe of 14 days.

It should never take this level of escalation for a refund to be honored. I'm posting this in hopes that Educor will finally treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and resolve it without further delay.
