Terrible Experience
In April 2017 I signed an agreement with Damelin for the studies of a National Diploma in Financial Management.
I am not happy with the service that I have received from Damelin for the following reasons:
1. Since April / May 2017 I emailed my assignments through that I still don’t have the marks for the subjects of Entrepreneurship & Business Management and Communication & Management Communication. 2. In August 2017 I sent through my first assignment for Computerised Financial Systems that I still haven’t received marks for. 3. In September 2017 I wrote my internal tests and exams which equated to R1800 and still do have marks for them. 4. On Friday the 6th of October 2017 I sent through my November external exam entry form in with a payment of R900, I never received any correspondence as to when and where the exams would take place. When I eventually called in to find out when I was writing I spoke to Lizel van Beine who told me that I had missed these specific exams. She then passed this matter over to Reon van der Westhuizen. I have sent numerous emails to follow up on the progress of my problem but have not received any feedback.
In December 2017 I informed the College that I will be cancelling my studies with them, I sent them all the relevant forms on the 15th. On the 28th December I got an email notifying me that the cancellation has been granted with a cancellation fee of 39%. I immediately appealed this as I cant see how they can justify a 39% cancellation fee when I have had nothing but problems since the start.
Since then I have spoken to numerous people, via email and telephone and the matter still hasn't been resolved. I keep getting told that I will have an answer by the end of the week but that was more than a month ago.
